[INFO] 2PM Boycott Continues In Thailand

After 2PM's Jaebeom's departure from the group, 2PM's fans, Hottests, have declared they will be boycotting 2PM until Jaebeom is back and the fans have stayed true to their word.

Through a travel agency in Thailand, an event was to be held for a total of 100 fans to sign up and get a chance to go on a 5 day trip to Bangkok with 2PM's Nichkhun. But as the Hottests have proclaimed that ""We all reject a 2PM without Jaebeom", one by one the Hottests have been canceling their opportunity to meet the star and are backing out on the event.

A representative stated, "We had around 90 participants in the event but now we have about 30 left." But it seems this event will still be taking place despite the small number of participants.

The 2PM boycott continues on even until now and many participants are continuing to cancel out on Nichkhun's Thailand event. Stay tuned on allkpop to find out if this event will be held or if all the participating Hottests will back out.

[INFO] TVXQ are not monkeys

Cassiopeia strikes again!

On September 10th, the TVXQ fanbase took out an advertisement in the Hangyuhreh newspaper with the title "TVXQ is not a monkey"

The phrase refers to the alleged slave contracts that have been the source of conflict between TVXQ and SM Entertainment.

The words "You don't have to know," "Do not argue," and "Don't expect an answer" accompanied pictures of the "Hear no, see no, do no" monkey pictures.

At the bottom of the ad, the statement "Dong Bang Shin Ki has moral rights and are people that should be able to make their own decisions"

For those of you who have been living under a rock for the past month, TVXQ members Yoochun, Junsu, and Jaejoong filed an injunction against SM entertainment to determine the validity of their contract with SM.

The court ruling should be out soon as well.

[INFO] KARA, inspiration for Netizens

Girl group KARA, busy with their successful 2nd album’s promotions, has piqued the interest of netizens. Though KARA is now considered a successful group, especially after attaining 1st place on several music programs this year, it wasn’t always smooth-sailing for them.

The trend now-a-days seems to be that groups release a teaser or create some sort of buzz and then shoot to fame as soon as they debut; this has been the case for 2NE1, T-ara and most recently, f(x). However, pictures unveiling KARA’s modest start have resurfaced, causing many to notice their progress and how far they’ve come.

These pictures include KARA’s first fan meeting, held outside a factory with just a few fans in attendance and their fan meetings now. The difference is inarguable, and many netizens have gone on to label KARA: success generation. Not only was the location of the first fan meeting noteworthy, but many have gone on to comment on KARA’s former member Kim Sung Hee. Kim Sung Hee recently participated in a duet with newbie singer Genunie.

Because of Kim Sung Hee's departure in February of 2008, the addition of 2 new members, a long hiatus, and mediocre success, rumors of KARA disbanding surfaced earlier in the year. However, these rumors held no truth, and through these photos, netizens have claimed, “Hard work will never betray you” and “This is so inspirational!” KARA's success reinforced the old maxim, "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again."

[INFO] SNSD’s Tae Yeon and Park Hyo Shin’s Captivating (?) Duet

At the Seoul International Drama Awards 2009 on 11th September, a special stage between SNSD's leader Tae Yeon and ballad singer, Park Hyo Shin took place tonight. They performed the 2004 hit song, Snow Flower from the Sorry, I Love You OST which was originally performed by Park Hyo Shin. It was not the best performance you would have expected from the two talented vocalists.

There was something off about it.

[INFO] SHINee’s Onew gives support to Jaebeom

UFOTown Says SHINee's Onew never made this statement, it has been deemed to be photoshopped.

More and more stars are starting to support 2PM's fallen leader Jaebeom. On UFOTown, SHINee's Onew responded to a question by a fan, showing support for Jaebeom.

The question was:
Oppa... What about Jaebeom oppa? ㅠㅠ This is getting ridiculous ㅠㅠ

Onew responded with:
He'll definitely be back. Himnae~! 2PM consists of 7 people ^^!

It's good to see more people supporting Jaebeom, when the dust is all settled and the heat dies down a bit, I hope that he can return to Korea. Jaebeom should be forgiven, it seems most people have as he seems to have garnered more supporters than detractors. Also, what he said was in the past, so it should stay there. I liked this quote by Gandhi:
"The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong."

Hopefully, Jaebeom stays strong as well, Thanks to So Jin for the tip. Also check out the SHINee and 2ONEDAY Forums.
